The Warehouse Region 8 stores have been a fantastic support for The Hearing House over the last couple of years. Not only have they helped us to fundraise hundreds of thousands of dollars s towards our new purpose built facility, they continue to donate toys and books and engage their staff with how we help deaf children to listen and speak.
We also have a event for The Warehouse Region 8 staff coming up on Sunday to welcome them to our new preschool and preschool playground which they funded through their Add $1 campaigns. This informal BBQ event will allow front line staff to see first hand how asking customers at the check out to add $1 to their purchase can help to literally change the lives of deaf children who are learning to listen and speak.
We cannot thank The Warehouse Region 8 staff enough for their fantastic support. The fundraising that we have received from them has been fundamental to the development of the new purpose built facility which will allow us to provide more support for deaf and hearing impaired children across the Upper North Island.
